Every so often we like to organise a little
party for our clients, and whilst we normally take the party to them, for the
first time we decided to host an event and make them come to us – the double
positive being that we were announcing our new MD to the market on the same
day, so were able to make an arrangement that worked for everyone!
I
found a great little café bar in one of the trendy parts of town, which we
proceeded to fill with drinks, food and a photobooth, before inviting 100 of
our biggest clients out to celebrate with us.
In
the UK a Christmas party would be a bit of a fancy affair, perhaps with
cocktail dresses and mulled wine. In Singapore you just come from work, drink
cooling cocktails and sit out in the evening sun with the air of some serious
aircon to make it bearable.

It
was a great night, we got amazing feedback, and we got a great turn out too
(which was a bit sketchy when a storm broke just a few hours before kick off).
All in all it was a great way to round off the year, and with this done and
dusted, we’re not one step closer to home time!
