Now that we’re nearing the end of our first
full month back in Singapore after Christmas, things have started to settle
down quite a bit, and so our weekends are turning into very casual and relaxed
occasions. We normally have one or two little bursts of excitement each
weekend, but for the most part we’re just mooching along and getting used to
being back in the tropics.
This
weekend was quick a glorious one. On Saturday I woke up early enough to prepare
a little brunch feast for Nick before he rolled out of bed. We then spent the
rest of the day looking around the most picturesque parts of Singapore so that
I could get some photos on my new camera whilst learning the settings and
twiddling the knobs to try and work out how to get the most out of al the
snazzy settings and options.
Saturday night was then equally as relaxed. After the storm clouds gathered and we managed to get home just before the heavens opened, the rest of our day was spent in hibernation, enjoying some homemade pizzas and watching some nonsense TV. Nothing too exciting, but sometimes that’s the best way to spend a Saturday.
