A very dry start to the week

Best behaviour is well underway, and it’s actually been surprising successful! I had thought that living with a boy would make it all too easy to cheat the system, but thankfully that hasn’t been the case so far.
My morning alarm is going off at 6:30am again (just like in the good old London days), although this time I am hitting the gym before work, then the pool after work, and am eating only veggies and drinking bucket loads of water each day.  Plus it turns out that Nick is willing to eat a lot of veg and not much else too, so I am happily dragging him down with me!

Conference Week - DULL!
The first three days of this week were spent at full day conferences, where cake is on offer at every coffee break and hot lunches that smell amazing were the choice of the day for most people. Thankfully I stuck with my dressing free salads and black coffees, and I even manage to avoid all of the evening parties without getting too much stick. So far, so good!
On Wednesday I ended up in the gym in the middle of a torrential rainstorm. I attempted a picture (planning to send it to Nick to let him know the glorious weather that he was missing), but it turned out to be so dark and miserable outside the window that the photo completely failed.

Other than that there have been a couple of meetings scattered here and there, but generally my focus this week has been on good behaviour and minimal playing. It’s miserable, but I feel a hell of a lot better for it! Now I will just have to wait and see how I get on with the weekend.
