| Thailand weekend |
It has been almost a full month since we last went to Bali with Debbie,
so it’s only right that we spent this weekend off the island of Singapore and
on a different island – this time around, Phuket was our destination of choice.

Often when we go to
Thailand we stay at The Village resort, which is a lovely, sunny, beachy way to
spend a couple of days, but this time around we opted to stay in town with the
boys at their incredibly spacious (although not very well cared for) house.

In amongst too much
drinking and an awful lot of eating (diet went out the window for a couple of
days) we had fabulous breakfasts out in the old town, we went shooting, we
watched people on a clever automatic wakeboard park, we shopped for super cheap local art (not that we have any wall space left at the moment, but it will keep until we move back to the UK!) we had one hell of a BBQ,
we spent time at the beach and we even went to a tailor to get some super cheap
clothes measured up and made for us.

It was a bit of a heavy
weekend (for drink and food), but it was great fun, and it’s always nice to see
familiar faces from home when you’re living on the other side of the world!
