Back on good behaviour – yet again! We have
quite a few plans for next weekend, so I need to make sure the bulk of this
week isn’t too naughty. After weekend of travelling, mooching and making the most of being away from Singapore I am nor sure how easy the shift back to vegetables and gym sessions will really be. We’ll see how that goes!
Good intentions running high, we kickstarted the week with a healthy day at work and a steak topped salad for dinner
whilst watching the first episode of the new series of Game of Thrones. Steak is a little bit more hefty than normal diet fodder, but Nick was ridiculously excited about our TV viewing for the evening, so we thought that something a little bit Game of Thrones appropriate was going to be necessary.
We’re
having a dinner party this weekend and are planning to try out a new Jamie recipe that focuses on steak as the main offering. Whilst we're happy enough cooking steak for ourselves, the idea of serving it to other people (with all their preferences for how it ought to be cooked) was a little terrifying- this was therefore half a rehearsal for our main course on Sunday night. Trial one was a success, so we’ll have to wait and see how things pan out on the night.
