Another Monday, another flurry of good intentions. The plan is to now be
on good (but not necessarily best) behaviour from now until Christmas. We’re
going to the Gillis in early December, and I’m determined that I’m going to be
fitter by then. Or at the very least, I’m going to try!
Monday started just as
it needed to, with a 6:30am wake up alarm, an hour in the gym and then
grapefruit for breakfast and veggies with peppermint tea on the side for lunch.
Not exactly the most exciting way to start the week, but sometimes needs must.
Having woken up to the
news that Richard Attenborough had sadly died, our evening plans were to eat
healthy chicken and green veggies on the sofa whilst watching Jurassic Park
that Nick has recently bought in 3D to play on his projector. When we heard
about Robin William Aladdin was the film of choice, so it seemed only fitting
that we went down the route of favourite children’s films to mark the occasion again.
Sadly (well, luckily,
but only in a certain light) Nick’s week at work kicked off really well, and he
ended up staying in the office until nearly nine trying to start the three day
process of closing a massive deal. There was still chicken and veggies, but no
Attenborough session – that will have to be on hold until the weekend now.
It’s going to be a busy
old week, so I just hope that I can maintain good-ish behaviour through it all!
