Tommy’s passing through

As we start gearing up for all the excitement and adventures around F1 weekend, the boys from Thailand flew in to get themselves settled and ready for some fun.
Tommy, his dad Chris and a couple of other expat chaps from Phuket all flew out and arrived in Singapore at around 8pm last night.
To welcome them to town, Nick and I headed over to Arab Street to indulge in a hummus and kebab heavy dinner whilst everyone gathered around the giant table we had bagged on the open pedestrian street.
Tommy and Chris are staying on their huge, beautiful sailing boat in the Sentosa marina this weekend, so I am very much hoping for a bit of a boat trip, or a drink on the deck at the very least, so that’s quite exciting.
Otherwise they have the posh seats for the racing, so we might not see a huge amount of them during the nights, but hopefully we’ll have the chance to catch up with them whilst they nurse their hangovers each day this weekend.
The out-of-towners have arrived. It must be nearly F1 time!
