Whilst I woke up on Monday morning feeling a little bit more alive than
before, I still wasn’t feeling 100%, so it was going to have to be a day spent
working from home and not sticking to any of my best behaviour routines. Normally
Monday morning would start with a weigh in before heading down to the gym for a
quick 45 minutes of activity before getting ready for work.
The gym was out of the
question, but thanks to a weekend of doing nothing but drinking non-alcoholic
liquids by the bucket load and with only a couple of rounds of toast being consumed,
the weigh-in element of my morning was at least fairly successful.
With that very small
victory under my belt I set up my laptop and prepared for a day of trying to
stay awake without any naps whilst also waiting for Stubo to arrive.
Stuart has to do another
Visa run from Thailand, and so he will be staying with us for Monday and
Tuesday night this week. This would normally be a great chance for him and Nick
to go and play while I waft around at home being useless and ill, but with Nick
quickly following my down the sick route, I am not too sure he’s going to get
very much entertainment out of us this week. He does however get the joy of staying in a house full of sick people, where he may or may not escape without catching anything. Poor boy - life is a lottery for him this week!
